A contemporary European acoustic jazz quartet, formed in December 2025. We explore modern jazz, the ECM aesthetic, and contemporary compositions from the Polish jazz scene.

An active musician on the Kraków and Barcelona scenes since 2011, a graduate of the Cracow School of Jazz and Contemporary Music who furthered his studies at Taller de Músics in Barcelona. He has performed extensively in Kraków and across Poland — including Piwnica pod Baranami, Klub Piec Art, Coltrane, Lizard King, Klub Gwarek, Chicago Live, Jazzdża, and Stary Port — as well as with a wide range of ensembles. He also creates electronic soundscapes under his solo project Zero Volume. Comfortable across a broad repertoire and many idioms, he joins the classic language of jazz piano with contemporary synthesizers. His experience spans intimate solo and chamber settings in jazz bars and restaurants as well as leading larger bands. He has developed his craft through numerous international jazz courses and workshops — including Tenerife, Málaga, Valencia, Begues, and repeatedly at the International Summer Jazz Academy in Kraków.

An active performing musician for several years and currently a student at the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków. He has appeared widely on Kraków club stages — including Piwnica pod Baranami, Harris Piano Jazz Bar, and Piec Art Szewska — as well as with big bands and varied ensembles. He has performed twice at Harris Piano Jazz Bar in the Snarky Puppy Tribute project. Versatile across repertoire and genres, he moves freely through jazz, funk, soul, and popular music. His experience ranges from intimate club settings to larger bands and outdoor concerts, shaped further by numerous jazz courses and workshops.

Kacper Działdowski

Double bass

After roughly a decade in death metal — recording two studio albums as a bassist and playing countless club and festival dates across Central Europe — Kacper turned toward subtler artistic terrain. Exploring fingerstyle acoustic guitar, he developed a deep affinity for rich harmony that ultimately led him to jazz. He later returned to electric bass, the instrument he knew best and for which demand was stronger. After formal training on bass at the Cracow School of Jazz and Contemporary Music, he expanded his palette to the double bass, studying with seasoned voices of the Kraków jazz scene. Today he is the steadfast foundation of the quartet’s rhythm section, bringing precision and an openness to diverse musical forms.

An active performing musician, drummer, and composer, currently studying jazz and improvised music at the Academy of Music in Kraków. He completed a faculty course in arranging and composition. Closely tied to the Kraków jazz scene, he has appeared at Jazz Club u Muniaka, Klub Pod Jaszczurami, Klub Gwarek, Klub Studio, and SPATiF. He has performed in Poland, France, Finland, Estonia, and Lithuania. His range and international experience allow him to move freely through the open forms of contemporary jazz, giving the band a deep and distinctive pulse.

Technical rider

Technical requirements for organizers — for smooth collaboration and the best possible sound on stage.

• Trumpet For larger rooms, the band can provide miniature clip-on microphones dedicated to trumpet (wired, with a belt-mounted preamp / power supply).
• Piano An acoustic piano is strongly preferred (mic’d and amplified by the venue). If an acoustic piano is unavailable, the band can provide an electric piano.
• Double bass Venue backline (bass amplifier) is strongly preferred. If needed, the band can provide its own amplifier by prior arrangement.
• Drums Venue backline preferred (drum shell pack and hardware); the drummer brings their own cymbals. If needed, the band can provide a full drum kit by prior arrangement.
• PA & monitoring A minimum of 1 stage monitor is requested. The venue PA must be able to amplify piano, double bass, and trumpet.
